Ambition Stories #2 – Ambition is Passion


Kayla is an incredibly talented designer whose ambition is to become a full time artist. Having been a finalist in the World of WearableArt show nine times and the winner of the 2024 Aotearoa award for her design ‘Karearea’, Kayla’s first creative memories are from kindergarten and she hasn’t stopped creating things since. Like many young Mum’s, life with a toddler and family is a balancing act. Kayla pursues her ambition late in the evenings once the family are asleep, and this just shows how passionate she is in working towards her ambition. You’re inspiring Kayla!

Ambition Stories #1 – Ambition is Soaring
Jamie is a now 11-year old rocketry enthusiast whose ambition is to work at Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) or NASA building a mars rover or rocket engines. He started watching Youtube videos about rockets which developed into a passion. That passion pulled in Dad & Granddad and this intergenerational team now build rockets out of their home garage. 

This is our TV advert which tells the story of one man's ambition through the ages. Because sometimes an ambition isn't about the end result, but the journey along the way.

Our new visual identity and logo are an evolution of the Fisher Funds brand that has grown and developed since it was first founded in 1998. Moving from a brand built around its founder, to one encapsulated by the New Zealand Kōtare, the new visual identity is a modern reflection of forward momentum, growth, and progressiveness. It stays true to who we are whilst modernising the brand for where we want to be.
